In a statement issued on behalf of Yuva Bhim Sena, Latur District Collector G Srikanth demanded that the cases of atrocities against the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes should be taken to court in a fast track court.
The statement further states that a Buddhist youth from Pimpaldara in Maharashtra was brutally beaten to death. Pimple Saudagar Chinchwad A 20-year-old Buddhist youth named Viraj Jagtap from Pune was murdered by beating him to death with an iron rod and a stick in a love affair. A case of murder should be registered against the accused in the case of attack on a backward class family in Bhadgaon taluka of Jalgaon district. The Yuva Bhim Sena has also demanded that a case of murder be registered against the killer of Arvind Bansod in Nagpur and that the cases be taken to a fast track court by investigating the injustice done to the Buddhist community in Maharashtra and taking legal action.
